Develop relationships with the youth we serve who have emotional and behavioral disorders while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment and routines.
Plan and lead group and individual activities that will help the yourh we serve achieve life and real-world skills, creating opportunities for them to succeed.
Perform behavior management, therapeutic duties, and crisis intervention.
Participate in reflective practice and supervision.
Contribute to the management of the residence.
Builds and maintains positive relationships with residents.
Provide direct supervision of youth.
Manages conflict and facilitates group and individual problem-solving.
Maintains written records.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.
E.
D.
Prior experience and training in positions similar to that of the Direct Care Worker/Direct Support Professionals or with children.
