Summary:
Responsibilites include but are not limited to:
evaluation and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders in premature and medically fragile infants, speech/language evaluation and treatment related to acute injury or illness. Therapist will be the primary speech therapist in this area and will be responsible for day to day program development and growth. Areas of work include Level III and Level II NNICU, PICU and Children's Hospital.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Masters in Communication Disorders; Certification/License GA and American SLP Association
Experience:
Must be motivated to acquire knowledge about embryonic, prenatal, and postnatal development, anatomy, physiology, and neurophysiology in the developing infant with regard to acquisition or skills and behaviors related to communication, cognitive, and feeding/swallowing.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
